Betrayal

Betrayal stings like a knife,
Discovering your cheating life,
Trust shattered in a single blow,
Love and loyalty, no longer bestowed.

I try to ignore the pain inside,
But it only grows with each divide.
My mind is numb, my heart is sore,
Ignoring the problem hurts me more


With open ears and open heart,
You listen and you play no part
In judging me, my friend so smart.
